F*nkytown, the newest addition to the vibrant Bangkok nightlife scene, has risen to prominence with its unique blend of innovation, sustainability, and local flavours. Recently honoured with BK Magazine's Best New Bar award for 2024 in the Bangkok After Dark (B.A.D.) Awards, F*nkytown has solidified its position as the hottest new bar in Bangkok.

Join us in welcoming Pae Ketumarn, Group Beverage Manager, previously from prominent establishments such as Sober Company in Shanghai and The SG Club in Tokyo, for his very first bar takeover in Penang at Backdoor Bodega, presenting F*nkytown's unique cocktail menu developed on a funkiness scale of 1 to 5, where guests can work their way through the list and get more adventurous with big flavours. 

This event is open for walk-ins (subject to seating availability), with limited tickets available for seating RSVPs. Each RSVP ticket includes one (1) complimentary cocktail from the guest bartending shift menu of the night.

Terms & Conditions

1. This Event is strictly only for non-Muslim adults aged 21 and above.
2. RSVPs are available for this Event, but walk-ins are accepted too (subject to seating availability).
3. RSVP tickets are transferrable but non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and can only be redeemed once.
4. Each RSVP ticket for this Event will be allocated one (1) reserved seat at the venue. Any additional pax without an RSVP ticket will not be guaranteed a reserved seat.
5. Each RSVP ticket is eligible to redeem one (1) cocktail from the guest bartender menu of the particular event only.
6. Reserved seats will only be held for up to 15 minutes from booking time, and seats will be released after this period without any prior notice.
7. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry and/or expel from the premises any person with unruly conduct and/or in breach of any venue and/or ticketing terms & conditions.
